Delete your Host-Caster account
You can delete your account and the data we store for it at any time. You do not need the app for this.
On the web
Sign in at https://app.host-caster.com, open Settings, Account, and choose Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm.
In the Android app
Open Settings, Account, and choose Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm.
By email
Write to support@host-caster.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm by email within 30 days.
What happens when you delete your account
- A paid plan is cancelled first, so there are no more charges.
- The access you gave us to Google (Calendar, Gmail, YouTube), X or Apple is revoked.
- Your account and everything stored for it on our servers are deleted right away: your hosts, stations, About me, synced songs and playlists, saved keys, linked sign-ins, usage and reports.
- Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days, when those backups expire.
- Billing records stay with our payment provider for as long as tax law requires.
- Songs and settings saved on your own devices stay there until you remove them (Settings, Data & storage, Delete data on this device), or uninstall the app.
