Included AI and voices cost real money every time a host speaks, so each plan includes a generous amount every month. We show it as approximate listening hours for a station where the hosts talk every couple of songs. Premium voices use it up faster than standard ones.
Most people never get close. If you do, we let you know at 80 percent. At 100 percent a scripted fallback and your device's voice fill in until your next month starts. The music never stops, and you can switch to your own key at any time.
Already pay for an AI or a voice service? Connect it with its key on any plan, or run a model on your own computer for free. Your keys are encrypted on our server and never shown again in full.
You pay those providers directly, under their terms. Our fair use only counts what Host-Caster includes.
Billing
Open your account in the app and choose Cancel. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you already paid for, and then it is not renewed. No calls, no forms.
Plans are monthly, so we do not refund part of a month after you cancel. If something went wrong, like a double charge, write to us and we will fix it. The details are in Cancellation and refunds.
Yes, at any time from your account. You see the new price and any difference for the current month before you confirm.
We let you know and try again for a few days. If it still does not go through, your plan ends and your account moves to Free. Your hosts, stations and settings stay as they are.
Through Stripe, at checkout. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
Host-Caster is open source. Run it on your own computer or server, free, with your own AI and voices.
